Enjoy the convenience of removing prints easily from our OctoGrab™ Magnetic Bed system! The special high-temperature neodymium magnets embedded in the 1/8" thick machined aluminum plate can hold high temperature print jobs for extended durations without losing any magnetic field strength over time, unlike standard print bed magnets which can start losing field strength around 100C°.
*If you do not already have the Mini Etched Modular Print Bed Heater you must also purchase one with your OctoGrab™ Magnetic Flex Bed.
Quick & Easy Upgrade
Upgrading is easy.
If your LulzBot Mini 1 or Mini 2 already has a LulzBot Mini Modular Print Bed System installed, this upgrade simply replaces your Glass/PEI Print Surface. If you do not already have the Mini Etched Modular Print Bed Heater you must also purchase one with your OctoGrab™ Magnetic Flex Bed.
Not compatible if your Mini 1 is version 1.03 or has a serial number of KT-PR0035NA-7499 or lower.
To upgrade, simply remove the four bed leveling washers and existing glass/PEI bed from your Mini Etched Modular Print Bed Heater equipped Mini 1 or 2. Insert the OctoGrab™ aluminum magnetic base on top of the Mini Etched Modular Print Bed Heater and replace your bed leveling washers.
Important: Adjust your Z offset to the new print surface and start printing!
After prolonged use, you may need to clean your OctoGrab™ surface with a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water to renew its adhesion abilities. Allow the surface to dry completely before printing.
